Today marked the day that would take everyone's breath away. Gareth Chew of HELP University College, Department of Psychology had vanished to thin air. READ ON...............
October 13 2008, Monday - Exactly at 13.00 p.m in the afternoon, Gareth Chew was reported missing in HELP University College. He was last seen at Wisma HELP, level 8.4 reported by Jessica Yong, an acquaintance of his at 12.44p.m.
"I saw him sleeping in class as usual and I just decided to leave him alone when I go and meet my friend, Carment" said Jessica. Jessica also added that at that particular moment, no one was around that area as it was lunch time before their next class starts at 13.30p.m .
Gareth Chew is a 5 feet 6 male, with short black hair. He wears a pair of silver glasses, orange t-shirt, and a pair of blue jeans. He was also wearing a pair of of brown sports shoes. All forms of identification related to him disappeared along with him.
Alison Tan, another student who is the victim's friend arrived at the crime scene approximately 13.05p.m when she realized everything was in a mess. She tried calling the victim but all was vain. Only then she found the victim's sports shoes near a window of the crime scene. "The first thought that struck my mind was that he jumped off the building". Alison said that victim was extremely stressed out for the past few days about assignments, family and exams. "I tried comforting him, but I rather let him spend his time drinking in pubs and clubs which I know, always makes him feel better" said Alison.
Immediately Alison notified the department about the victim's sudden disappearance. A report was filed and the Forensic Investigation Team (F.I.T) was called upon to investigate of the disappearance.
Currently, there are no leading evidence of the victim's suicide, for no body was discovered in the 6km parameter of the crime scene. The only evidence discovered so far is the victim's shoes and some evidence left behind. Apart from that, another crucial evidence that was disclosed whoever wanted to be known as Anonymous. "I saw a black figure when I was walking between the stairs from level 9 down to level 8. He was fully covered and I thought it might be the acting students dressing weird again." F.I.T is following up to find this black figure to be identified.
Evidently based, the victim was believed to have went missing around 13.00 p.m.
"I dare not say anything, but i think HE is back" reported by Angelreena, the assistant lieutenant of F.I.T, after uncovering a trademark at the table where the victim was believed to sit before he disappeared. "Lets hope history doesn't repeat itself, not the same fate as Betty" said Nicholas who is currently the Public Relations Manager of HELP University College.
A search squad has been dispatched to uncover more clues that may lead to the disappearance of Gareth. No suspects can be listed for now, but the F.I.T decides to interview all who is related to the victim, including those who hangs out with him in pubs and clubs. All in faith that he will be found soon. Dead or alive.
