The Envelope
October 14 2008, Tuesday - Exactly at 6.oo a.m in the morning of today, a suspicious envelope was slipped through F.I.T main headquarters. Recorded from CCTV was the regular postman, Mr. Edison who delivered it.

F.I.T contemplated on opening the envelope before any prior scan. There wasn't any specific person the envelope was for. It was only computer typed "FIT" at the front of the envelope.

Apart from that, the envelope was covered with blood splatters. The DNA department confirmed that the blood has a 95% match to Gareth Chew, the victim who disappeared on Monday (yesterday).

An old crumpled paper was in the envelope alongside with a finger that was cut out. DNA has also identified that the finger was unfortunately belong to the victim. The message on the paper was only "BRB" (be right back), and a trademark similar to the one left at the crime scene yesterday. It is the same marker pen as well to create the trademark.

The envelope has no trace of any finger prints or sort, but a finger print was identified on the piece of paper. CODIS analyzed that the finger print did not match with any of the profiles in it. Nonetheless, a further step was taken to analyze the finger print to match any citizen in the national database. With the cooperation from the government, F.I.T has identified a young girl's finger print. F.I.T refuse to release any further information, but the police force has been dispatched to retrieve this person who is currently a leading suspect of the case.

Furthermore, F.I.T is currently collaborating with the local police force to extend the search area while main investigators will be looking for more clues from the envelope itself.

"We don't know if the girl is a suspect or probably another victim. We will find out soon enough" Angelreena, assistant lieutenant of F.I.T reported.
